The privacy policy and terms of use for StickyTab and its Cloud Backup add-on.

This policy covers the StickyTab Firefox extension and the stickytab.minosh.me website.
Notes you write are saved in your browser's extension storage on your own device. StickyTab does not send your notes, your browsing history, or the pages you visit to any server unless you turn on Cloud Backup.
If you enable Cloud Backup, your notes are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded. The backup service stores the encrypted note text and encrypted page addresses. It also stores a one-way hash of your license key, a hash of each page address used to match notes, and timestamps used for syncing. The service cannot read your notes.
Cloud backups are kept until you delete them with the Wipe button. Local notes stay in your browser until you delete them. If a purchase is refunded or disputed, your cloud backups may be deleted. We keep server logs for security and abuse prevention.
You can delete local notes at any time. Turning Cloud Backup off stops future backups but does not delete existing ones. To permanently delete all backups for your license key, use Wipe under Encrypted Cloud Backup in Settings before you disable it.
Gumroad handles license purchases, verification, refunds, and disputes. Gumroad may collect your name, email, and payment information under its own privacy policy.
Cloudflare protects and hosts our servers and this website. Like any website, it receives standard connection data, such as your IP address and browser type. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details. Gumroad and Cloudflare may process data outside Sri Lanka.
StickyTab does not use cookies, pixels, or tracking code. No analytics libraries are loaded. Your browsing activity is never tracked or profiled.
If a security incident affects your personal data, we will notify affected buyers and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

By installing StickyTab or buying Cloud Backup, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension or the add-on.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use StickyTab for personal use. The free version is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.
Your license key encrypts your backups. Keep it secret. We store only a one-way hash of it. If you lose your license key, your backups cannot be decrypted, and we cannot recover them for you. You are responsible for securing your device and your key.

Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase. After 7 days, purchases are final. Reply to your Gumroad receipt email to ask for a refund, or contact us through the support email on the StickyTab Firefox Add-ons listing. For license support or disputes, you can also contact Gumroad directly through its support system.
StickyTab, including Cloud Backup, is provided "as is" without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Cloud Backup is a convenience to help you restore your notes. It is not a guarantee that every note will be backed up or restored. Keep your own copies of anything important.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license key (if any). This applies to all claims, damages, or losses of any kind, including indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, and service interruptions. If Cloud Backup does not work for you, a refund within 7 days of purchase is your only remedy.
We may change, suspend, or end Cloud Backup. Where practical, we will give notice before doing so. If Cloud Backup is discontinued, we will notify users and give them time to download or delete their data.
We may suspend or terminate your access to StickyTab or Cloud Backup if you violate these terms.
You remain the owner of your notes. We do not access, use, or profit from your backed-up data.
StickyTab, including its code, design, and documentation, is owned by its developer. You own your notes. The extension itself remains the developer's property.
StickyTab is developed in Sri Lanka. These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, where applicable, or your local law. We will first try to settle any dispute through good-faith negotiation or informal mediation. Any dispute that is not resolved this way is subject to the courts of Sri Lanka.
We may update StickyTab or these terms at any time. When we do, this page is updated and the date at the top changes. Continued use means you accept the changes.
